Volunteers are integral to FGG and we function as a global organization because of all their generous time, good will and hard work. Benefits to getting involved include:

No matter who you are or what your skill level is, there are lots of ways to get involved. We also offer a range of roles that require specific qualifications and skills to get involved in. You can complete the volunteer application form here.

Currently, we have these open positions. 

• Our Marketing Committee is seeking experienced marketing professionals, and graphic designers to help us to drive our marketing strategy forward. 

• The Communications Committee is seeking people with skills in the following areas:
• Writing press releases
• Keeping the content on our website up-to-date
• Writing newsletters which regularly reaches 14,000 readers
• Social Media management - keeping our facebook, instagram, twitter/X, Threads, LinkedIn pages up to date
• The Human Resources task force would like to hear from you if you have HR skills/qualifications to help us manage our volunteering strategy.

We are also looking for volunteers to join our GAY GAMES GROUND CREW - a brand new initiative to help spread the magic of the Gay Games around the world in preparation for València 2026.  You can help us by:

• Meet local teams to educate them on the Gay Games
• Post on socials about your Gay Games experience
• Create content with your team for our socials
