The Federation of Gay Games (FGG) is deeply saddened to announce the withdrawal of Auckland from the site selection process which will determine the host city for the Gay Games XIII in 2030.
The Valencian Local Government Board has approved the partial transfer of the Gay Games contract to AVEGAL, as requested by the FGG in order to ensure the Organizing Committee for the Gay Games has representation from both the local government as well as the local LGBTQ+ community.
The Federation of Gay Games has issued a statement confirming that all people, including trans and non-binary people, are welcome to attend and participate at the Gay Games as their authentic selves.
In July 2025, the Federation of Gay Games (FGG) will conduct two four-day site inspections in both of the finalist cities - Denver, USA and Perth, Australia - as part of the selection process to host Gay Games XIII in 2030. The visits will include facility tours, meetings with local stakeholders, and cultural immersion.
